The entire SCOI team was excellent -- from Dr. Moldawer through the nurses to the aides. The Doctor has given me a new lease on Life with a minimum of discomfort and the staff has been helpfully concerned without being intrusive. The entire process has been a very positive experience. I have especially appreciated the daily check-up which has given me the comfort of knowing the staff has been involved during the early stages of recovery at home.

First of all,I would like to thank god ???? And DR.MOLDAWER for an excellent work he did on my lower back (lumbar)..I am really happy that everything came out great with no complication and now I’m just recovering from my surgery.i had a herniated disc at level L4-L5 and I will defenetily reconend dr. I had really bad back pain. My primary physician sent me to PT - after five visits it was not better. We came to Dr. Moldawer and he diagnosed it immediately - ruptured disc. He is terrific. Surgery went well, rehab has gone well. I am very happy.

Dr. Moldawer was very fast and immediately ordered my surgery. I was very scared but I came out great!! And Sara is wonderful. She is so detailed and precise, iam happy that I did my surgery with him

My wife just had surgery on the Thoracic Spine which is rare and high risk. Dr. Moldawer was exceptional; diagnosed the problem and recommended a mico discectomy. There were three herniated disc's in the T8; T9; and T10 areas, and all three were repaired with no complications. The service and facilities at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys were excellent, and my wife was walking the same day as surgery, with the assistance of a walker and therapist. She was released after only one day, and she is home recovering, and looking great. Dr. Moldawer is the very best. Unfortunately there is a need for a second surgery at the L-5 S-1 level of the Lumber Spine, but we have all the confidence and trust in this excellent physician. That surgery will be scheduled in late November/early December. Dr. Moldawer is strict; is a perfectionist, and after seeing three other surgeon's, he was the only one that fully diagnosed my wife's condition and intervention, and made his… recommendations. We are so blessed to have a physician with such competence, experience, and knowledge. He is amazing; and one can see how passionate and serious he is about the work that he does. There is no finer surgeon in our opinion. He has exceeded our expectations. He doesn't mince words; nor does he waste his time. He is both efficient and proficient. He fixes the problem; says goodbye; and on the next patient. Dr. Moldawer is our "hero".........
