Dr. Todd Bert Nippoldt, MD

The doctor exhumed expertise in his selective specialty, In addition, he spent time gathering data, examining medical records, and surveying my medical journey. He was able to order a solution-oriented diagnostic plan to assist him in making a definitive diagnosis. He shared his suspicions but cautioned me to modulate my expectations. He advised that this would be a process requiring a healthy dose of patience. Personally, he was open-minded, pleasant, patient, polite, and astute. My interaction demonstrated that Dr. Nippoldt was one of the leading experts of our era.

For someone who claims to be an “expert” in his field, Todd Nippoldt is clearly anything but. Like all doctors at Mayo Clinic, Todd shoves his patients into boxes with other, similar patients and never treats you as an individual. When it comes to “treatment,” Todd will lowball all dosing, thereby eliminating their effectiveness, and when you tell him symptoms that don’t fit into his perfect, bullet-point list of syptoms, he’ll say they’re psychogenic and suggest therapy. Apparently that’s the way all doctors at Mayo work now.

This guy is pathetic. Doesn't listen to the patient. Couldn't figure anything out. No assessment skills. Total waste of money spent going to see him. So much for the world renowned Mayo Clinic and their supposed world class doctors. After doing a basic CBC and CMP panel, he tried to tell me that all my aches, pains, mental fog, and chronic fatigue was all in my head and that I should talk to a counselor or psychiatrist. He wouldn't do anymore in depth testing or research. Instead he tried to pass me on to a psychiatrist who definitely wouldn't be able to figure anything out. Totally lazy, but collects the big bucks, and doesn't do anything merit worthy to earn it. Well, after leaving his office with displeasure, feeling like I had been robbed, and feeling totally disgusted and ripped off, I continued on and found a physician who actually listened, showed concern, compassion, and looked beyond the surface, and tested me for and discovered lyme disease! I have been treated and have made… a remarkable recovery. This Dr. Nippoldt in my opinion and experience is inept and he himself is a poor example of a healthcare professional, overweight, obese, he doesn't know the first thing about health, or practice it for that matter. As I was in his office, I just felt like I was being bamboozled. Had I listened to this bonehead I would be zombied out on psychiatric medication and still feel like crap, with no remedy to the original problem. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor or you too will waste your hard earned money. If he can't figure anything out, rather than admit that and be honest, he may try to convince you of a psychological issue and try to steer you towards a psychiatrist so you can be further medicated on mind numbing psychotropics. Unbelievable how doctors like Nippoldt can rip the public off every day of the week, misdiagnose them and send them an exorbitant bill, and then mess with their psyche. It is truly sad.

Provided an amazingly accurate diagnosis regarding my prolactin secreting pituitary tumor. Took me off medication 4 other Doctors had me on attempting to shrink the tumor to no avail. The side effects from the medication effectively destroyed my retirement savings and almost (save for my spouse) destroyed my marriage. He is spot on a great Doctor. Plus he is a nice guy.
