Dr. Todd D Pizitz, PhD

It might be hyperbolic to say I owe Dr. Pizitz my life, but he certainly had a big hand in turning it around entirely. I was 27, addicted to all kinds of prescription drugs (that I was buying illegally). I started seeing Dr. Pizitz at the recommendation of a friend and he helped me through it. He provided me with really unique, personal care. I could tell it was his intent to change his method up until he found one that worked. He was patient, understanding, empathetic and flexible, and he told me what he really believed I was capable of. It took a long time. After I got off the pills, I hit a depression that I had trouble pulling myself out of. After months and months of weekly appointments, he suggested that maybe I was ok to stop my appointments. Maybe I was ready. His suggestion, not mine. And he was right. I probably had been for weeks, but he made certain. I had no job, few friends, very little personal life, and no prospects for the future. Fast forward a few years… later, I have a great job in cancer research, I've dated here and there and may have found the one recently. If you're thinking about making an appointment, please do. He's caring and easy to talk to. He has a great sense of humor as well and I think he relates really well to his patients, young and old.
