Dr Runyan is personable, skilled, and great at what he does. He explains what is happening, what he will do, what to expect, and afterwards what happened. He has fixed my knee and my shoulder, and if I hurt something else he can fix I'll go back to him. His staff is rude and condescending, but if you stomach through dealing with them the rest of the visit will be pleasant. It's never fun to be hurt enough to require surgery, but Dr. Runyan made the experience tolerable.

I had a lot of hardware removed from a shattered elbow, still assumed I would have the arthritis the rest of my life, with or without the hardware. But the doctor found a nerve issue also, and corrected it while in surgery. I have been PAIN FREE ever since!
