Dr. Todd Louis Sharp

I definitely do not recommend this practice . I was told I need a filling in a one of my teeth . I have tried to get appts to get this fixed . The office either cancels them at last minute or gives me a different time when they send reminder . I called today to try and get it straight , the office manager hung up on me 3 times and was screaming at the top of her voice . I haven’t had good luck with the dentist being in the office on some of my appts either . Definitely bad service and they don’t know how to treat their customers.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Sharp. He is kind and gentle and always in a good mood. My visits have involved more than routine dental work; I had had a new crown, crown replacement with core build up as well as full mouth x rays. I would recommend the good doctor to anyone!

You know I have learned to take all of these negative comments with a grain of salt. I figure that the person that wrote them has a VERY embittered life and they just need someone to blame for their own issues. I feel sorry for whoever falls on their "hit list" that day because that is who is going to get crapped on. This is a REAL review of Dr. Sharp. I have used him for the last 13 years. He is an EXCELLENT dentist. Very thorough and VERY patient. He is intelligent and explains everything thoroughly. He will also take into consideration whatever ideas you might have in you dental care. His staff is excellent and his dental assistants are very nice and do a terrific job. I also really love the front office staff. They are knowledgeable and thorough in dental insurance filing and have worked with me in all of my dental plans and care. This office DOES care. If you want an honest review then this is the one for you. Give him a try. He really is a great dentist. I wouldn't… travel in from out of state, over 1000 miles for my dental care if he wasn't. I don't trust anyone else with my smile. He is worth it. Thank you Dr. Sharp for all of the hard work, dedication and care to your patients that you and your staff always show. You all are terrific!

INCOMPETENT, LIAR, THIEF. BACK ALLEY DENTISTRY Shocking Lack of Expertise, Morals and Ethics. Shoddy Lab, Dishonest Accountant, Bizarre Staff I had the recent misfortune of having Dr Todd Sharp of 'Today's Dental' attempt a very expensive and time-consuming series of implants. Don’t let the limp fish handshake and friendly demeanor fool you: Dr Todd Sharp is a cold blooded thief and bungling professional. What an absolute Nightmare-The uncomfortable and painful procedures were completely botched by Dr Todd Sharp THREE times at 3-5 hours per session, SIX separate days instead of three to be subjected to Dr Sharp's inexperience, confusion and painfully suffocating attempts. When this dental scam finally collapses I’m sure Dr. Sharp could easily find employment as a terrorist waterboarder. But, after long hours of enduring these gagging, inexcusable dry runs, you find out all is not lost. Turns out, your appointment doubles as a ‘practice session' for his novice dental… assistants, who are trained 'on the job' on your dime. If you expect crisp professionalism here, think more like 1.75GPA vocational training. Adding insult to injury, Dr Todd Sharp cheated me out of a significant portion of my insurance reimbursement by misdirecting the check from my insurance company directly to him and stealing over 30% on a paid-in-full account. This is an uncaring and greedy office which demands full payment before the Doctor will stumble in and begin making you regret coming here. The surly inept staff, who possess the blind obedience and compassion of a Concierge at a Death Camp, are the perfect ugly compliment to the bad Doctor himself, who left me speechless when he was willing to trade his honesty, integrity and professional ethics for a little pocket change. Dr Todd Sharp is an insult to the profession, liar and thief.

My worst dental experience in 60 years. Went to Dr. Sharp to have front crown re-cemented. He re-cemented the crown tilted so far back I couldn't eat without cutting the bottom gum. Several days of pain later I recontacted Sharp's office - he agreed to repair the tooth. This required 'cutting' out the tooth and 7 or 8 injections into the roof of my mouth – excruciating and the 'new' temporary tooth was much shorter. Six weeks later the crown was ready. Permanently cemented in only shorter.

Went to this dentist twice for 6 month checkups. First time, lady had very difficult time getting xray equipment in my mouth. (at least 9 times). 2nd time, different lady had difficult time with x ray equipment. (at least 6 times) finally went and asked for help. How many times can you get xrays before mouth cancer shows up down the road? Both ladies did not even say 'hi' or introduced themselves. The dentist is fine, just not his assistants.

Broke a crown on a back tooth. Had no insurance. Had seen a dentist at one of those walk in clinics who wanted $6000 to do all kinds of work but would not do the affected tooth unless I let them do all the work. Dr. Sharpe had been taking care of my sister before she moved out of state and she suggested him. I called, explained my situation. They had me in the next day. Everyone was exceptionally nice. Dr. Sharpe looked in my mouth and made several suggestions including a simple extraction of what was left of the tooth. They even set up a payment plan of $25 a month to allow me to pay the $300 bill. I would refer anyone to them.

Dr. Sharp and Lucy are amazing. I would never go to another dentist after seeing Dr. Sharp.

Sleazy, Caustic & Hostile! I believed I found a place that would do what they said they would do at the price specified. I had been evaluated for a tooth removal, bone graft and implant from a couple of dentists and received their estimates. Sharps office said they would review my case, take a look and give me a plan estimate for free. I accepted. Waited an hour for the Dr. to appear and seemed like a good guy. Left with plan pricing and an appt. to have the work done. Their price was the best I had seen before my insurance paid anything. Tooth was removed, bone graft and stitches done and was given a bill for the entire amount - no insurance. Paid it fine. Membrane feel off the same day. Had to go back and had to have all the shots to redo the membrane and stitches (too hurried the first time). 3 weeks later I go to have the stitches removed and they want me to pay an additional $114. For what? I had paid everything already. She said my insurance paid nothing (not… what they told me). Apparently they wanted to be paid for the initial evaluation of $51 - although they said it was free and yet another one on the same day as my procedure! How can you have TWO initial evaluations and be charged for both. The office manager yelled at me saying that we charge for everything we do regardless if your insurance company pays for it AND even if the office told me upfront there was no charge. But TWO initial evaluations? She said the charge was ordered by the Doctor. She would agree to drop one charge if I paid half then. I asked to speak to the Dr. She refused until I paid for one of the evaluations. I left the office WITHOUT having my stitches removed. What kind of care is that? BOTTOM LINE: This office LOOKS FOR WAYS TO ADD CHARGES EVERYTIME you come into the office. Do NOT believe them when they say something is included or at NO COST. How hard is it to put stitches in that will hold? POOR POOR SERVICE and NO CARE for patients. You are only $$$ signs to them. Shamefull!

This doctor does very good work. I could not have been happier. However, the financials are a lot to be desired. They over charged me a couple hundred dollars. It was for a service that the dentist did not even do. I have complained and it has been 2 months and have yet to see the money. They finally called and said they will credit my charge account. Credit my charge acct? I paid CASH! So now I am still waiting. And their account works every other Friday. Maybe soon..................
