Dr. Todd Joseph Sheppard, MD

I would be Very Concerned about the ability to get any level of quality care from this individual! My experience was negative as to his willingness to answer patient questions along with his lack of professionalism! I would also be very worried about his approach to providing care as a pulmonologist/critical care provider. He is Very curt and seems to base his medical diagnosis for care on statistics and not the individuality of the patients need. I noticed his inability to welcome other medical staff’s professional care contributions in the treatment of a patient! He seems to be very closed minded in his approach to provide care if it doesn’t fit into his own statistical perception!! He needs to be re-educated on many aspects of providing medical care.

After experiencing this physician on a professional/medical level with critical care & pulmonology, I find that he lacks the expertise to provide this very important type of medical care. He has a very significant deficit in patient communications & lacks any level of patient/family empathy in his very limited patient/family communications. He is not willing to have needed patient communications on their illness. I would be extremely reluctant to recommend or even give any positive expectations of medical care by this individual.

Dr Shepherd was unable to identify my condition and for about a year treated me for a condition that I didn't have. After leaving the area I was correctly diagnosed by a new doctor and recovered.

If you want a doctor with Morals and family values, then Todd is definately not your man.
