Dr. Todd L. Simon, MD

Nicest, most relatable physician in all the land. Hehears, listens, and pays attention to you.

Dr. Simon spent almost an hour with me. This is partially due to the fact that it was my first visit, but how many doctors will spend anything close to an hour with you regardless of the circumstances? And this is not for lack of patients (he is very busy indeed). His questions about my background were as thorough as they could be. His questions about my condition were also thorough. The physical exam he did was an actual comprehensive exam. He is obviously knowledgeable, his approach is comprehensive and his demeanor is pleasant. Dr. Simon makes you feel the way you should feel when seeing a doctor (which is very rare these days).

Dr. Simon is a great doctor. He is always pleasant, never abrupt with his patients. Though the visit time is short, he is great at managing it wisely and I leave knowing that he takes my concerns seriously and there is a plan in place to address the issue(s). I was too sick to work, but not sick enough for an ER visit. I called Dr. Simon's office, but he was completely booked for that day. The office staff said he wouldn't be in for another hour, but assured me he would me call back. So said, so done. Dr. Simon called me within 1 hour of his arrival to the office. The outcome was productive. Not only did we find a solution to my problem, the opportunity was taken to follow up on a previous issue. The call was less than 10 minutes, but I felt as confident and satisfied as I do when I see him in the office.

It's a shame - I liked this doctor, and would have stuck with him for my family but for his support staff. The secretaries are rude and not at all helpful (Methodist Hosp).
