Wonderful doctor, very intelligent, excellent bedside manner, very caring and empathetic.

My mother and I had been patients of Dr. Smith for 20 years plus. He always was very nice to me and I trusted him. He prescribed medicines for me (some controlled substances due to childhood through adult severe anxiety/depression). He dropped me and my mother (who is 98 years old!) by letter...knowing that my mom required monthly iron infusions to live. Also, the controlled substances he prescribed me, though they worked very well, can't be stopped immediately after years of taking them. One of these I have been taking for over 30 years! I had to go to the ER in a panic over running out of my medicine! Mom has had several critical episodes in the last month, and he knows I am her primary caregiver. Imagine my shock when suddenly I am facing no meds and my mom may be dying...He made me feel like a street drug abuser and the whole event has sent me spiraling into depression. How can any doctor do that when he knows both my mom's and my own situation? Please comment if you have… been in a familiar situation. It surely might ease my depression.

I have been a patient with Dr. Todd Smith basically since his practice first opened. I love his office and his bedside manner. He always makes me feel as if I'm his number one priority. I have recommended him to several friends and my husband began seeing him right after we were married. Tammy, his nurse, is always caring and consistent with my care. More health professionals should follow in their footsteps. He has celebrated many life events with me throughout the years and has provided me with a sense of comfort in troubling times. He truly is in the health care profession because of his compassion and heart!!!

I have been going to this Dr for several years now and I highly recommend him. If he does not know what is wrong, he will recommend a specialist for you. He took such great care of my dad during his later years and was so helpful.The office staff is always friendly when I call and I've never seen an office as organized as his.His medical staff always reviews what meds you are on at every appointment. They write down everything you tell them that is going wrong, etc. They are always smiling and so caring. The entire department is very organized which makes your appointment go so smoothly. I highly recommend Dr Todd Smith and any of his staff.

This Doctor is only interested in caring for healthy people with no problems or complications. Glad I found this out early on, before something was really wrong with me. Makes a great first impression, but is unable or unwilling to provide follow-up care re: medicine adjustments due to extreme side-effects or to even have anyone on the medical staff make a patient call-back with guidance and direction. I would not recommend this Doctor or this practice to anyone who 1)asks questions of their doctor re: medicine, treatment, tests (you, apparently, are supposed to just nod and agree always with your doctor), 2)anyone who has a complication/side effect because this will only be tolerated if you can fit into the appointment book for the week. Care is not in the vocabulary of this practice. Apparently, patients are dispensable, since they have over 5,000 of them! I have never been treated so unprofessionally by anyone in my life.
