Dr. Todd Barrett Soifer, MD

This so called orthopedic surgeon (who by the way DOESN'T perform surgery), takes temper tantrums EVERYTIME he DOESN'T get his way. The whole office has such a turn over in girls working there because of him. The people who work there are so afraid of him.

The Dr. May be good, but his staff stinks.

Apparently in it for the money and what he thinks is prestige. Looks down on his clients.

GROSS NEGLIGENCE resulting in a DEFORMITY. My mother came to see dr. Soifer to get a cast for a finger that had a minor fracture and no displacement. Several weeks later, after the cast was taken of the finger was crooked and deformed. At that point doctor's response was to offer surgery. WOW, What kind of an orthopedic specialist cannot rectify a minor, routine problem ?

On the positive side, it was easy to schedule an appointment. As for the rest, my experience mirrored the bad experience that the previous reviewer talked about. I also found the place to be an assembly line and X-Rays were taken prior to the doctor seeing me. A diagnosis could not be determined based on the X-Rays. The staff did not appear interested in helping me with the next steps in the process. I came out of there knowing no more than when I entered.

I got an X-ray before Dr.Soifer saw me. It seemed to be standard procedure. I should have been seen first and then maybe I would not have needed an x ray. After diagnosing that I might have a tendon and ligament problem in my hand, the Dr put on a brace on each hand without asking me if I wanted it. The brace did not even fit properly. The Dr. was abrupt and had a poor bedside manner. The office was like an assembly line in a factory. I would not go back to this facility again!
