He repaired my AAA May 15, 2008. He has monitored me annually since this catching another aneurysm which he repaired 3 years ago. He is micro detailed. He never rushes an appointment. He is an excellent listener and answers all questions. He is the best in his field!

Dr. Todd Spencer is no good! Does not know how to diagnose and has a really rude staff. He told me my test was completely normal. And, did not seem to have time for me and quickly exited the room. I kept having problems with my left leg and finally got a referral from my new PCP to see a doctor who is the BEST in the field of vein/vascular. I had May-Thurner Syndrome, had the surgery whereas a stent is used to keep my vein open and my leg is feeling much better. Don’t waste your time and your insurance money with him!!!!! ,

Dr.Spencer and his staff are almost perfect. Knowledgeable, courteous, spends time with patient. All would be perfect however Dr. Spencer does not manage pain after the Rx given leaving hospital. Dr. Spencer performed an endarterectomy 8 day ago, pain management was excellent in hospital. Pain med Rx was very good controlling pain, 30 doses were given. Upon contacting office for more pain meds, something not quite so strong, it was made clear that I needed to see my PCP or a pain management doctor which would require time, a referral and a wait for an appointment, all while in pain and recovery. I went in to see Dr. Spencer and although very nice, he was clear that he would only give me a non narcotics pain medication. I have tried that med for two days with little relief. This Dr. Is excellent in every way, except dealing with my pain post surgery . Bottom line...if post op pain control is important to you, this would not be the doctor for you.It was my failure as a… patient that didn't ask post surgical questions. This is most certainly an error I will not repeat.

I never felt rushed during appointments and Dr. Spencer freely shares his knowledge with me, explaining and even illustrating my body's situation until I genuinely understand it and am able to discuss with him viable treatment plans. He is a smart, humble and generous person. I can say the same for his support staff at both his office and the North Park Heart and Vascular Center.
