Dr. Todd Swenning, MD

Dr. Swenning listened carefully to my description of my condition, asked pertinent questions, reviewed my MRI with me and thoroughly explained his recommendation for treatment with me.

He’s an excellent surgeon and an excellent person! Repaired my left knee in 2007 when he was a surgeon in Tulsa Oklahoma and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone!

I had broken my left knee cap in half in 2006 and he was such a loving and caring doctor! I miss him being in Tulsa Oklahoma and would absolutely go to him again for surgery! A very excellent doctor

I think Dr. Swenning is a good enough surgeon; however, the office visits ruin any kind of positive review for him. I never met him before my surgery; I always dealt with his assistant. Even when I was in the operating room, prepped, and waiting for him to come do my surgery, I went under before he arrived. Out of seven visits post-surgery, he actually saw me ONE time. The other times his assistance dealt with me. At every office visit, it was always a TWO-HOUR wait. Between office visits when I had a question, I had to call back at least three times before anyone returned my call. Expressing these concerns to the staff did no good.

He is a very nice guy but has too many things going on to spend enough time with his patients!!! There's always a very long wait time and then it always seems they rush you out of there so they can see all the other patients! After the surgery you will very rarely see him but will see one of his assistants because he is to busy! If he didn't have so many patients and other surgeries to do then I think he'd be a great Dr. Because he is a very nice guy. Overall does a good job as a surgeon but the follow up and patient dr relationship is poor!!!

Best ortho trauma Dr around. I presented after a massive moter vehicular trauma with five open longbonr fractures and after sebventy eigh days in the hospital and over a dozen operations he was 48 hours from amputating my leg above the knee but never gave up hope. Going on four years of recovery I only recall his always pleasant demeanor and rapid fire humor. Todd is one of a kind and a true professional, not always on time but definately worth the wait:)

I fell and among other things broke both the radius and ulna of my left arm. Dr. Swenning came to the emergency room. He was very charming and presented very confident. He had a good sense of humor but was appropriate. He came across as gentle and caring. All of his staff that I have met seem quite genuine and caring. The surgery went well and I have had few problems with my arm. I would highly recommend Dr.Todd Swenning.
