Dr. Tsuchiya received a B.S. degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota in 1987. He continued his formal training in a General Practice Residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center. While at the University of Chicago, Dr. Tsuchiya was also a Clinical Instructor of Dentistry and served as Assistant Director of the residency program.
Dr. Tsuchiya has been with Bassett Creek Dental since January, 1990. He is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, Academy of Computerized Dentistry, …Northside Dental Society, American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association and the Minneapolis District Dental Society. He is currently the Treasurer of the Minnesota Dental Association and serves on several committees within these organizations.
Dr. Tsuchiya is originally from St. Louis Park and currently resides in Eden Prairie with his wife Connie and their son, Kyle. He is an avid sports fan and participant. He is also active in Kogen Taiko, a Japanese American performing art/drumming group.
