Dr Wilding saved my life and is truly a blessing. Back in 2015 I was spiraling and had lost control of who I was to addiction. I needed the best care and Dr. Wilding fit the bill. When I first called him, he asked me if my “to be” husband knew of my substance abuse and my answer was no. His next words changed my life and strengthened my relationship. He told me he was willing to help me if I had the support of my husband. This step helped to build trust in my new marriage as well as guaranteed support. He said, “call me back when you tell your husband.” I really wanted to work with him, and I decided to have the talk with my husband. My husband and I sat down with Dr. Wilding, and he explained what addiction is, how the brain works when it is addicted, and what can be done to get clean. We left his office, equipped with information, a plan, and hope. I have worked with Dr Wilding for 6 years. He never made me feel rushed. He worked with me patiently at my pace to ensure I was… comfortable. What I love about Dr. Wilding is our conversations would also be about how my family was doing and our love of animals. He has come to be someone that I consider a friend and I owe him my success. He encouraged me to live a healthy, happy life, and when you’re an addict that’s all your looking for. I was a patient of Dr. Wilding’s for about ten years. I would recommend Dr. Wilding to anyone struggling with opiate addiction. Dr Wilding was always very easy to talk to when it came to my addiction or personal life. He was with me through a ton and never turned his back on me. I am an RN practicing in the field of addiction for 30+ years. I've worked at several different treatment facilities and with countless addiction doctors over the years. Dr. Wilding is arguably one of the best Doctors of Addiction Medicine practicing in the world today. Every single patient in our facility gets a treatment plan tailor-made for them (most doctors use a one-size-fits-all approach). If you happen to end up under his care, you are very lucky. I don't think anyone else knows more and stays as up-to-date on the latest treatments for different types of addictions. I can't speak for his private practice, but I do know first-hand that those who end up in his detox will be getting the best care there is.
