From my first visit with Dr Todd Wilson I knew he wold be able to help me. Five years of trying to find a doctor to take care of my hiatal hernia for the 3rd time was not an easy task. My family dr had sent me to several doctors and so did my carido. doctor, all turned me down telling me it could not be done. Dr, Wilson did not say that. What he said was " i will have test done and study to see what I can do. I left with hope in my heart. After all testing and visits, Dr. Wilson said he would do surgery with my daughter and i being told of servial percent (not a good one), but I was willing to take that chance. Well here it is, 5 months later. I have to say that I can not remember when I have felt so good. Not up all night with my head in a trash can, sleeping all night (something I have never done, and just feeling like a new woman. At age 74, i feel like 50 or less. Dr Todd took me as a patient after being a patient of another doctor. I was in need of a very simple surgery, hiatal hernia. During the surgery my Vegus Nerve was cut. For the next year I was in and out of the hospital I was unable to get food down and if I did , I couldn’t keep it. My weight was 132 the day of my first operation , which was a great weight for me. By the time Dr Wilson came into my life I had been barely around 100 pounds for a year. Dr Wilson has been my Dr for one year now and has preformed several procedures during this year out of necessity. Weekly I am getting stronger, with the feeling of assurancees that I don’t expect to be exactly back to what I was like three years ago which was golfing whenever I wished and bowling three times a week, but I know I have so very much to be grateful for. I am thanking God daily for putting Dr Todd Wilson in my life and so appreciate his thoughtfulness and his showing of kindness and sincerity to me.

I checked over 40 bariatric surgeons in the Houston area. It's unbelievable the practice they conduct! One even had a procedure to remove appendix and other procedures during surgery without consent! Many of them are vague in the procedures. Most are not shy about letting you know they are more concerned about the financial concerns than they are about the patient. Dr Wilson is one of 3 surgeons in the Houston area that I trust totally. For one, he is a professor at a major university. If he wasn't good, he wouldn't be teaching surgery procedures very long! Plus, we all know how teachers are perfectionists! He also will answer all your questions, explain in terms you can understand, and what to expect. His staff goes over everything with you again, making sure you understand and if you have questions. You don't have to take my word on this...just check sites like this one that rates medical personnel, visit YouTube and websites that provide credentialing. I just urge you for safety to… be cautious on who you finally select to perform your surgery.

I got the best care available from Dr Wilson. His surgery skills are remarkable. I was amazed that he performed such difficult surgery with such small incisions.

Dr. Wilson was referred to me be a doctor from my home town of Bryan Texas. It wasn't until after the robotic surgery Dr. Wilson performed on me that I realized that this was a life-saving decision. We have some excellent doctors here in Bryan but because this surgery turned out so serious due to unseen problems it took the skills and ability to respond to difficult challenges that Dr. Wilson was able to save my life. He repaired all the problems he set out to do and many more. I would "Highly" recommend him to anyone! He is easy to talk to and really concerned about your follow-up care.
