Dr. Todd Everett Young, DO

I hate bad-mouthing physicians and/or his staff, but in Dr. Young's case, I'll make an exception. I'd been seeing him for a few years mainly for routine checkups, and every visit I had the "feeling" he was promoting some test or procedure primarily to make money. Regarding the most recent one he urged me to have, when the results came back he hardly mentioned it, and I received a bill for $795. Everyone in the office seems dour and hacked-off except the scheduler, and I have zero confidence he's doing what's best for me, the patient, and not merely his bank account.

I was referred to Dr Young by my doctor in Glen Rose as I had some possible symptoms of prostate cancer. I made it VERY clear that I did not have medical insurance and that I needed to know the total costs involved before I underwent ANY treatment whatsoever. This was also pointed out to the administrative staff at the Texas Center for Urology at the Fort Worth office/Surgery. I was never informed that I would be charged $1713.00 for a tissue examination by a Pathologist and an Immunohisto antibody slide. I was hit with a bill from Inform Diagnostics some 2 months after my Biopsy. Do not believe a word that the staff tell you about the costs involved in having treatment here and make sure that you get a FULL breakdown of the costs involved BEFORE you undergo ANY treatment if you do not have Health Insurance. They are nothing short of being deceitful.

first appt with other appt. scheduled. still have not heard about the test he wanted me to have before the next visit which is next week. It is also rather difficult to access his scheduling person but I will try again tomorrow

I love Dr. Young, he spends the time with me to explain things and make sure she is understand. But having to go to see the Dr. is stressful. Be prepared to wait. Every visit I have had to wait minimum one hour and trying to get an appointment is a joke.

I had a procedure by Dr. Young due to an emergency situation. I was lucky that Dr.Young was on call at the hospital. I can only give Dr. Young the highest of marks. He spent time with me, provided answers to all of my questions. His follow up was complete and I am totally satisfied with him

had vesectomy and was a lil sore next 2 days but all is good now and Dr was great.

Excellent bedside skills. Dr. Young removed my prostate with the robot and I was home the following day. Staff was wonderful and the entire experience was easy during this stressful time. Highly recommend.

Dr. Young walked us through every step of my husbands cancer diagnosis, treatment planning and surgery. He was compassionate and caring, as was his staff. He is an A-1 surgeon in our book and we would highly recommend him.
