Dr. Todd Michael Zimmerman, MD

Dr. Zimmerman makes feel very comfortable. I feel I can discuss anything with him. In fact over the past 20 years I have gone there, I have NEVER had a bad experience.

I have been a patient of Dr. Zimmerman for many years. I find him to be professional, caring and very easy to talk with. I would, and have, recommended him to my friends and family.

I had an appointment with Dr. Zimmerman today. This was my third time seeing him in the past month. This was to be a 15 minute re-evaluation and I got up and left after a short time. He is very rude and condescending. I waited 45 minutes in a warm room for him. I showed him my appointment paper and it said 7:00 am for my appointment and he said that is just the time I am to be there and he sees the patient 30-45 minutes after the time of appointment. I think that is bad practice. He strolls in with his arrogance that just made me know he is not the right doctor for me. He kept cutting me off like he knows it all and did not take what my other doctors had said to me into consideration. I went to an appointment for a pain evaluation with Dr. Zimmerman four weeks ago, where you just talk and then you get your pain medication at your next appointment in about a months at a 15 min re-evaluation. I went in for an appointment last Friday at his office in Tarentum, PA for a sacroiliac… joint injection which was my second time seeing him. Before making the appointment, I asked if I could have my 15 minute re-evaluation appointment the same time as my joint injection which would be the following Tuesday, today only a few days apart. I was told by Tom, the receptionist that the insurance will pay the doctors office at a reduced rate if these two appointments are combined and they won't make much that money on it. Forget about the convenience for me not to have to spend time and gas. It is all about how much they will get from my insurance company, Blue Cross Blue Shield. I will not recommend Dr. Todd Zimmerman to anyone.
