Dr. Toe Toe Maung, MD

We have had a similar experience with Dr. Maung. First priority is to discharge patients and does not give thorough care. Got the feeling that he is just 'going through the motions' and family had to suggest what he needs to do as far as tests, symptoms, and what he is doing to address them. Without the family support system paying attention to his care, our father would have been discharged prematurely and without proper care. We would not recommend his services to any one and would not recommend Memorial Regional Hospital because of him.

Transferred my brother to a Nursing / rehabilitation facility without appropriate stabilization of his blood pressure after suffering an ischemic stroke brought on by ovedosing of blood pressure medication prescri bed by another physician afiliated with Watson clinic . My brother;s bloodpressures at nursing home was in the 90's/ 40 's. Also, left a letter for him regarding concerns with my brother and never recieved a call back from him. In addition transferred him on the same meds he was on prior to having his ischemic stroke . He actualy wanted to d/c to home without having social workers make adequate arrangements for rehabilitation and when i refused to take him home , only then arrangements were made , after a psyc. consult was called and psych decided becasue of the multiple stokes he had he is nolonger to make decisions for him self and i was appointed to make his decisions . When a facility was found for him his transfer had to delayed since his blood pressures were too low .
