Welcome and thank you for visiting my home page. I grew up in Lake Oswego, Oregon, just outside of Portland. After completing an undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Oregon, I earned a Master’s Degree in Cellular Physiology at the University of Minnesota. Thereafter, I came to realize my genuine desire to help people in need. I attended medical school and completed my Emergency Medicine residency training at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. In February 2010 I joined Kaiser Permanente and have been impressed with the level of care that patients receive in the ER as well as useful outpatient resources that are available to patients.

When it comes to practicing emergency medicine, I feel it is important to take the time to listen closely to patients, no matter how busy it may be. I also realize the importance of being a team player, effectively communicating with our quality ER staff as well as coordinating patient care with …other physicians from other specialties. As your emergency physician I will treat you with the utmost respect and keep you informed of your plan of care while you are in the ER.

Although many of my patients would rather meet me under different circumstances, I look forward to providing prompt evaluation and treatment of the problems that bring patients to the ER in the first place. I am an optimist and believe in the strength of the human spirit and constantly strive to improve a patient’s quality of life.

In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy playing tennis and golf, as well as skiing, biking, swimming, running and exploring the great outdoors.
