Went in for initial appointment for cleaning and x-rays and the cleaner Sue was very professional as well as her assistant. Found out I needed three cavities filled and went in a few weeks following to have them taken care of. Dr. Paul did not make me feel confident in the procedure saying it might hurt for up to three weeks. After numbing came down I was in pain and called the office to schedule a follow up appointment. Dr. Tom came in and after seeing the tooth and hearing the symptoms immediately said I would need a crown and that the tooth was cracked and it could have been during the procedure but was most likely from biting something hard. (I hadn’t eaten anything harder than a banana for two weeks following the procedure) Having a retired dentist in my family I had him take a look as I know a crown could damage the integrity of my tooth and wanted to make sure it was necessary as I didn’t trust Dr. Tom’s almost immediate jump to me needing a crown. After three different visits… to dentists in the area they all said the crown was absolutely not necessary and after a minor adjustment and some sensodyne I am in zero pain. Avoided an unnecessary $1500 bill to cushion this guys pocket. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion when working with this dentist. Also asked their front desk multiple times if I was in network or not which they continually said they weren’t 100% sure even though they had a processed claim from my cleaning which said right on the statement.

Had root canal and two crown preps in 45 minutes.on two teeth. Both roots cracked, lost one tooth, and will probably lose the other tooth. Need to check your bill, bogus charges. Two visits I was charged for x rays I never had.
