Dr. Tomar Reisler, MD

I recently had the good fortune of being a patient of Dr. Reisler. Dr. Reisler did the closure of two areas of Mohs surgery. Both areas had the potential of extreme complication if not done properly (improper closure of eyelid, impact to eye sight and inner ear function.) I was most concerned about the eyelid and did not give too much thought about the ear. To me the ear turned out to be a bigger challenge. Dr. Reisler was very sensitive to my concerns and fears. He explained in detail how he would perform the closures and what my experience would be following the surgery. His patient manner and that of his staff is outstanding. He also is the first to ever do a night follow-up call to ensure I was not having any post surgery issues. Both of my surgery areas are now healed beautifully. I attribute this to Dr Reisler expertise, patience and perseverance for the best possible end result. I highly recommend Dr. Reisler and his staff.

I am a 67 yo woman and I was apprehensive about getting a tummy tuck. I’d lost 100lbs to get to my goal weight and could not get rid of the huge spare tire around my abdomen but I was afraid of the post op pain and long recovery. I needed to find an experienced cosmetic surgeon I could believe in. I’m a registered nurse and I’ve worked in the recovery room for over 30 years so I’ve had the opportunity to know and observe many many surgeons. As a medical professional myself when choosing a surgeon I was interested in their educational background, years of surgical experience, board certification and the use of the latest pain management techniques. When I read Dr. Tomar Reisler’s background history I was impressed by his education and training both in the UK and in the US and the fact that he had been a professor, mentor, researcher, author of numerous medical papers and two medical textbook chapters as well as being board certified. He also uses Exparel, an anesthetic applied during… surgery, that provides extended pain relief during your first few post op days. I was like - Oh Yeah! - I want that! I mean, of course, I’m a nurse and I want the best. When I met him he was so thorough in examing my medical history, my age and my current health status that he raised concerns that I hadn’t even known to consider to have a successful result. Some of his information was hard to hear but he delivered it with kindness and compassion knowing how I would probably feel about it. He devised a tailor- made plan just for me to get optimal results. No cookie- cutter surgery mill here thank you! I want to say that Dr. Reisler is an exceptional surgeon and an extraordinary person. I have never met any physician who is so competent and cares so deeply for his patients. When you become his patient he treats you as if you were one of his family members. You can ask him anything and everything. He is never annoyed and I had a million questions. His attention to detail is astounding. He never forgets anything I tell him. He is there to support you 100% of the time. If it’s humanly possible the man has no ego. You will never see a superior attitude or snarky comments, only compassion and expert knowledge delivered with kindness and genuine concern. He did an amazing job on my huge spare tire. It was so beautiful I cried the first time I saw the results. I had not seen any suture line so well done on any YouTube videos I watched. It was perfect! And so was my belly button. I’ve seen so many bad belly button results online that I was genuinely worried about what mine would look like. Dr. Reisler is an outstanding cosmetic surgeon and I consider myself blessed to have found him. Throughout the entire process he has been in constant communication, attentive to all my needs and questions, empathetic with my struggles and compassionate at all times. He always has a smile on his face and knows how to make you laugh and feel better. If you are struggling in deciding whether to have cosmetic surgery or not I would highly recommend you call and speak with Dr. Reisler. He will answer all your questions and by the time he does you will understand what I mean about what an extraordinary surgeon and person he is.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Reisler in North Carolina. He is a perfectionist from préparation to the finished product, with every détail carefully planned and exécuted. Hé takes great pride in his work and it shows. I have personally witnessed from his tender compassion at the beside, his skilled perfection during surgery, to his personal touch at following up. He truly cares about his patients and their outcomes. As a surgical nurse of 37 years, I can say, without hésitation "HE'S THE BEST!"

This was my first surgery ever and to be honest, I’ll do it again but only with Dr Reisler. He was very meticulous, precise and gentle. Dr Reisler and his staff made me feel at home. I called the clinic to have a mommy make over. During my consultation with Dr Reisler he advised against it. Suggesting to do just the abdominalplasty. I was so disappointed. But he took the time to explain the reason. My high risk factors were, my age 68, my BMI and I had alot of fat and skin to be removed from just my abdominal area. After talking with him I agreed. He did a phenomenal job. I couldn't be happier with my tummy tuck. I did have a setback for a few weeks after surgery which was not anything he did. But when he found out, he called me to see how I was doing. The calls and emails continued for weeks. I would email him with questions or concerns and he always answered me the same day or by the next morning. He cares very much about his patients. I am so happy with my new look. I feel healthy and sexy. Yes even at 68 I feel sexy now. Dr Reisler is fantastic at what he does and I'd recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Reisler perform my Lipo360 and I am so excited that I got him as my surgeon. Overall the service, communication and follow up is above and beyond. Like I said He gave IMPECCABLE service and the my results are astounding

So I am not one to leave reviews BUT I have to say I am so pleased that Dr. Reisler was my surgeon. 1st. A professional from beginning to end. Excellent bedside manners and answered all my questions with patience and understanding 2nd. My surgery (Abdominalplasty with Liposuction) turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I am so pleased with the results that a positive review doesn’t do it justice. He said that he would remove some of my love handles but maybe not all. I told him I had no problem with the handles just leave me the love...he did just that....they are gone!!! I highly recommend this Dr. and if you have any apprehensions sit down with him and by the end of that conversation I am sure you won’t...

Dr Reisler was AMAZING!!! I had a small waist already with a stubborn layer of fat over it, he was so excited when I told him my expectations. Not only did he remove almost all the fat from my waist to where you can see my abs and V line now, he also shaped my hips and bum a little without a BBL. I was kept very informed and into the process and he guided me through every step. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Reisler is AWESOME! What a wonderful experience I'm having as a patient of his. Great personality, professional, and wonderful bedside manners. Dr. Reisler is thorough, patient, and responsive. Answered whatever questions I had. He presented as confident and has a great personality. After much research of doctors, I'm glad that I chose to trust him with my surgery & life.
