Dr. Tomer Avraham, MD

I recently was diagnosed with breast cancer and went through a double mastectomy and had the flap surgery where tissue is brought from abdominal area to breasts. Dr. Avraham and his team did the over 6 hour surgery following the mastectomies and then almost 4 months later he did the Phase 2 (fine tuning surgery). I can’t say enough about him. He had me when he popped in after my initial visit with mastectomy surgeon and said he likes to meet patients before they go to surgery and he meets them in the operating room. Not your typical surgeon! I al still recovering, but he and his team have been considerate, professional and caring. I have Ben having the best experience during a time that should be traumatic. And when I make suggestions when I thought better explanations would have been helpful, he actually takes the time to listen. His skills so far in breast reconstruction have been outstanding. If he keeps the level of caring and professionalism with his relationships… with his patients as he has for me, this surgeon will go far in this field. Recommended highly.
