Yewande (Tomi) Adewole is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience. She works with children, adolescents, and adults. Tomi is passionate about assisting clients learn new skills while facilitating a safe environment. She specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, grief & loss, effective communication, relational conflict and major life transitions. Tomi completed her Bachelor's degree from Georgia State University and her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University-Atlanta. She is Nigerian-born and has ample experience navigating cultural adjustment and it's stressors. This, coupled with her professional experience, enables her to provide guidance according to client needs and circumstances. Tomi utilizes multiple treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing.
