Dr. Tommy Chua Sim, MD

Was referred to Dr. Sim by Primary Care Physician. Primary Care M.D. stated he had sent many referrals and feedback was always very positive for Dr. Sim. That was an understatement! I can't begin to state how pleased I have been with Dr. Sim and his entire staff/team. I've been a patient at M.D. Anderson for 10+ years with a chronic skin condition that was managed with high doses of steroids. Dr. Sim immediately diagnosed and prescribed a new medication that he felt would benefit me. Within only a couple of days of starting this new medication my symptoms began to rapidly improve. He even called me in the evening after receiving my first dose to check on me! I didn't think doctors did that any longer, but Dr Sim did! When I followed up with my Doctors at M.D. Anderson, they wanted to know who this "new" doctor was because they were seeing significant improvements in my condition on a much lower dose of steroids. M.D. Anderson has even began referring patients to Dr. Sim with… similar conditions as mine! Even these outstanding specialists at a top-tier globally ranked research hospital recognize that I'm receiving cutting-edge treatment from Dr. Sim. The new prescription is very expensive and his helpful staff diligently coordinated with the drug manufacturer to work with me on receiving medication at a significantly reduced price. Every member of his staff/team have also been a pleasure to work with, from the Nurses to the receptionists. Waits have never been more than a few minutes, office is clean, modern and utilizes current technology. Dr. Sim has great bedside manners which is a commodity these days. He is very personable, friendly and most importantly, knowledgeable and never in a rush with my appointment. If my review sounds over-the-top it is because my new treatment has literally been life-changing. I can't express how pleased I am with Dr. Sim and his success and ability in helping me.

Hello, I have been under the care of Dr. Sim and his staff for over 14 years. Over this time, I have witnessed the best care for not only me but my family as well. Dr. Sim’s demonstrates his concern for my heath and my family’s heath by his time spent with us during visits. Moreover, he calls and checks up to see if we are feeling better after a treatment for an illness. Who does that anymore? That is best care for patients. Just a couple of more reasons why we will not go to any other doctor: Dr. Sim reminds us for flew shots each season, recommends the best medication for our pill phobia, the staff is more than willing to help get medication refilled at a pharmacy close to our home or office - even mail order and insurance billing help. I have had a difficult situation with insurance and they have made is easy. To close I volunteer on a farm each year for harvest. This would not be possible without the treatment and loving care of Dr. Sim and his staff. My family and I… highly recommend Dr. Sim.

The treatment by Dr. Sim has been right on. Previous treatment by other doctors did not correct the condition. Dr. Sim is extremely considerate gives great attention to detail. He also has frequently called to monitor my progress. He is a 5 in my book.

Been going to Dr. Sim for fifteen years. His treatment of my asthma and allergies has been life-changing. He's a caring compassionate physician and his support staff is first rate. I d highly recommend Dr. Sim for any of your allergy or asthma concerns.

I have been a chronic asthmatic my whole life and been to many allergist through out. Simply Dr. Sims is the most professional and helpful Doctor I have been to. Plain and Simple. Dr. Sims along with his staff are the most friendly and helpful when I come for my allergy shots or have to come in for a asthmatic flair up. Since I have been going to Dr. Sims my allergies and asthma symptoms have decreased . He is always informative of new treatments that are available and offers me the best form of treatments. Who ever sent in a negative review is being petty and seems to be vindictive because of some personal issue. Shame on them. I have seen through the years going into Dr. Sims office and seeing so many people that he has helped both young and old alike makes me upset to see someone trying to ruin some ones reputation. I wish people would not think that slandering a doctor on these websites is okay. I would like to share the events that lead to this ladies review. Five years ago she friended a nurse in our clinic and this past Monday I had to fire that nurse. The doctor told the lady that wrote this review, something that she did not want to hear and then this happened within minutes of that. Please be mindful when you ready any reviews on doctors that they could be written by someone that did not get what they wanted, or what they wanted to hear.

I’ve never been treated so badly by an office staff in my life. My girls have been seeing Dr Sim for 5 years. Everything was great (definitely not on top of ANY new treatments or information for food allergies but generally pleasant) until Chrystal left. The day after they posted an open LVN position, I got a very nasty call from a staff member letting me know they would not be following the same procedures as last year for food allergy patients requiring 504s. When I went in to pick up my daughters documents for school, they tried to pretend that they had “thrown them all away” because I had another allergist request medical records for one of my daughters. They finally brought them out to me after I was adamant that I wanted the documents back. They whited out parts of the document and acted like catty, spiteful, petty teenagers. I will no longer recommend this office and will not let any of my children go back. I had to request that they take my daughters pictures off of their FB… page because they were never given permission to use her image on social media.

He is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor. He hopes to provide the best service for his patients. You don't have to go anywhere to test because everything is in his office.
