Dr. Tommy C Vo, MD

Dr.Vo is OK,he care about the patients but his staff is terrible in customer services. The WORST.

Very much liked that he seemed to listen to your symptoms, talk with you and discuss options.

Seen this Dr a few times over the years and he's become completely anal. He doesn't listen and his unwilling to help is appalling. If you have any pain, he will not write any pain med. You're better off buying OTC and saving yourself some money. Find another Dr because he shouldn't be a doctor. He's too fearful to practice which makes a horrible Dr but he's willing to take your money. I've found a new Dr who will listen, prescribe, and follow-up.

Dr. Vo has his head suck in his computer and rarely gives eye contact. Seems to do minimal but loves to give referrals vs him determining a diagnoses. All visits lead to a referral. He is great at covering lab work but does not like to be interrupted. He's always rushing. Not much wait time and clean office.

My first complete physical check up in 8 yrs. without any symptoms or prompting Dr Tommy Vo was able to correctly diagnose my only issue, an enlarged prostate which was dealt with immediately and effectively

I am not impressed with this doctor AT ALL. Let me start by saying I rarely go to the doctor, but I use Dr. Vo because he is convenientâ?¦ 6 years too long. It seems over time, things have gone from bad to worse. For starters, when making your appointment, make sure you take at LEAST a half day. After check-in you will wait in the waiting room for around 45 minutes before being called back to take blood pressure and weight. After the assistant takes your vitals, you will be placed in one of the examination rooms where you will wait an additional 45-90 minutes. That strange noise you hear outside the door? Don't be alarmed, it's just his portable desk carrying his laptop. Once he finally gets in the room, he reaches for the adaptor lying on the floor and plugs in his computer (there is one of these in each room). He then asks why you are in and repeats every word as he types it in his computer. After your explanation, he then gets on webMD and lists the symptoms to diagnose you... What… happened to doctors that look at you while youâ??re talking? The ones that listen to your symptoms and think about what they learned in medical school? After he gets in the room, your total time with the doctor is about 10 minutes before he is trying to scoot you out the door. Not sure why it takes so long to be seen if he spends very little time with you. This guy is a joke. Save your money and most importantly, YOUR TIME.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Vo since he was over on Hwy 6, long before he moved to his Barker Cypress location. I alsways know I am going to get the correct diagnosis and medication from him and if for any reason he is not sure, he will immediately refer you to a specialist.

Dr.Vo is very kind and take the extra time to always address my concerns and is always willing give me referals as needed with a smile too! He is like family, but in professsional way...all the way!DR.Tommy Vo is the best doctor i have ever had and nicest humanbeing you will ever meet! :)

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Vo. He has Saturday office hours; he spends quality time with his patients; he will refer if needed; he will squeeze you in at the last minute,etc.My entire family recommends him!

I will never go back to Dr. Vo. It took 3 hours for me to get a physical and the nurse was uneducated when explaining the test results to me. They suggested that I be sent for follow up blood work, just to ensure the results were correct, yet called in medication to my pharmacy anyway! Dr. Vo uses reference materials when writing out prescriptions (book, the internet), in front of the patient no less, instead of using the knowledge that he should have received in medical school! Although he is very friendly, I would rather have a doctor with a less courteous persona who actually knows medicine and how to diagnose a condition properly. Just say no!
