Dr. Tonel Leibu, MD

He is extremely rude and doesn’t care about the root cause of his patients problems. Poor practicing doctor.

He came highly recommended by a friend and he lived up to her bragging and my expectations. He takes his time w patients and shows patience and understanding as well. I highly recommend Dr Leibu. Even my mother (93) liked him and she doesn't like any anybody especially a dr.

Dr Leibu is a very thorough doctor and takes the time to talk to you. He was assigned to me when I was in the hospital and like him so much I switched doctors. The only thing I didnt like was the wait time.

Saw him in the ER. So rude. Appeared to have no idea what he was talking about. Would never recommend him.

Dr Leibu has convenient office hours and scheduling an appointment is easy and convenient. He is a caring, professional and listens.

I absolutely love Dr. Leibu. As far as I'm concerned, he's one of two of the best internal medicine doctors I've ever had the pleasure to know. He is caring, concerned, and if it wasn't for Dr. Leibu I'm sure my 95 year old mother would not be alive. At this point I consider him almost a family friend. I have recommended him to friends and will continue to do so. Yes, his office isn't fancy and there is a long wait. But I much prefer that to a doctor who has a great looking office, etc., but is not nearly as good. Dr. Leibu is the best!

True the wait at Nanuet office can be excessive however I feel he is worth waiting for because he is very knowledgable and personable.

This doctor has no bedside manner, which is ok. Most doctor's are too busy to worry about what you think of them, but this doctor doesn't even give the time to a very sick patient to explain their illness fully. He is quick to dismiss you and is not available to change your medications or or give further orders for tests. Not recommended as a family doctor.

The doctor is knowledgable and caring, but his office typically overbooks (5 or more patients for the same appointment time) knowing that the doctor is always late from his rounds at the hospital. This leaves a lengthy backlog of patients sitting in the office with no doctor at all ... when he finally does arrive you'll be lucky to see him within 90 minutes of your scheduled appointment.Unless you have loads of time (and patience), this disrespctful mismanagement of your time is not worth the wait.
