Linda Qu, MD, FACS, FSSO

Linda Qu, MD, FACS, FSSO, is an assistant professor of surgery in the Department of Surgery at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Qu is board-certified and fellowship-trained in Complex General Surgical Oncology. She received her medical degree from Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and completed her general surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Qu completed a Complex General Surgical Oncology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, also receiving a graduate certificate in clinical research from the University of Pittsburgh Institute for Clinical Research Education.
Dr. Qu’s clinical interests are in hepatopancreatobiliary and complex gastrointestinal cancers, melanoma and soft tissue malignancies, and minimally invasive surgery, including robotic-assisted surgery. She maintains an active clinical research program and …serves as Clerkship Director for the Surgery I clerkship in Lansing. She is an active member of the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO), the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (AHPBA), and the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
A native of Michigan, Dr. Qu is passionate about serving patients with cancer in her home community. She believes in delivering compassionate care to patients in their time of need and is committed to fighting cancer alongside them.
