Dr. Toni A Marcheskie, MD

I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Marcheskie at Lock Haven UPMC Emergency. Despite presenting concerning symptoms such as dizziness, blurred vision, waves of nausea, a dropping sensation, and tingling pins and needles, my condition was dismissed as anxiety. This was especially frustrating given that another doctor had previously suggested a possible musculoskeletal issue. The symptoms continued to occur, becoming more frequent, even happening overnight before my second ER visit with Dr. Marcheskie. I also requested head imaging, but she resisted and labeled me as demanding in my chart. To make matters worse, I was subjected to a drug screening without consent or explanation. The lack of transparency and the dismissal of my concerns left me feeling unheard and misrepresented. I hope the hospital reviews this case to improve communication and patient care in the future. I drove 35 minutes to a different UPMC as I had an episode later that week and was met with great care.
