Dr. Tonja Jeanine Dicamillo, MD

My son and daughter have both seen Dr. Dicamillo. My son had an issue that required a specialist. After each appointment with the specialist, the specialist would send an update on my son's condition to Dr. D and he would send a copy of that update to me. At my son's follow-up appointment with Dr. D, she proceeded to ask me about my concerns about him like they were new, and asked if I had gone to see the specialist. I find it disheartening that she would not review her files and notes from other doctors before entering a room to see a patient. It was like she didn't know or remember that he had any specific needs. Also, recently, the office changed their policy to allow more than one accompanying person in the office for a child's visit. On the phone, the woman who notified me of the change mumbled through the policy change, so I heard that my husband and my daughter's siblings would be allowed to come. I showed up 10 minutes early and waited in the waiting room while the receptionist… and the doctor had a conversation behind a window. When the receptionist finally opened the window to address me, she informed me that, although my husband would have been allowed to join me and my daughter, my son could not. By the time she told me this, it was time for the appointment. I asked if my husband could come and pick up my son, and she said he would have to be there in 10 minutes. If she had addressed me when I first came in, or if the woman calling to check me in the day prior had been more clear, or if they didn't have some bogus policy wherein a grown man could join us for our appointment, but a small child could not, then my daughter could have easily had her appointment without issue. How does covid magically become a problem in doctors offices, but not in stores, gymnastics, trampoline parks, etc. I will never return to this office, and I would recommend that any parent avoid patronizing Dr. Dicamillo's office.

Dr. D has been the Dr. for all 3 of my children for the past 15 years. 2 of them have serious health concerns. There is not a better or more caring Dr. that I have ever come across. Highly recommend DR. D. She is always there for us.

I am a mom of four, soon to be five, and I just love Dr. DiCamello. We moved here 3 years ago, and I chose her originally because she is 5 minutes from my house. Now, I would never go anywhere else, and I regularly recommend her to friends. Dr. D is completely present and actively listening during every appt. She listens to what I say and asks questions which shows she us very engaged. The most amazing thing is you can call her (directly- no answering service in India) in the middle of the night if needed and she will answer or call back within 5 minutes. Also, she will not prescribe antibiotics unless actually needed (which I respect), and she has been flexible with us doing delayed vaccinations. Five stars for Dr. D and her staff!! Love her secretary- so happy and welcoming!

I take all three of my kids to Dr. D and have for 5 years. She is calm, accurate and very nice. Her staff is also the best and know who I am when I call.

Avoid her! She is a terrible doctor.

My daughter needed a TB test for her college admission. The deadline for submitting forms was fast-approaching. We went to a lab to have the TB test administered. Dr. DiCamillo made herself available on a Saturday to read the results. She doesn't see patients on Saturdays, but indicated she'd be in the office doing paperwork and would be happy to see my daughter to ensure that the test results could be forwarded to the school without delay or any adverse affect on my daughter's enrollment status. She is a great listener, conscientious, and a problem-solver.

i could not ask for a more compasionate, caring doctor for my kids. she provides a caring, helpful, trustworthy environment and takes excellent care of my three kids. Her office staff is friendly, caring and helpful. This office is a rare find in these days of hurry up medical care. I am always impressed with them
