Dr. Tony Adolphus Dixon, MD

The office staff at this particular location is among the worst I have encountered. Specifically the receptionist Jeanette. I called to reschedule an appointment, I was transferred to another extension & then hung up on. I proceeded to call back, only to be told (for the 3rd time) that she would have to call me back (very rudely might I add). Needless to say she never called back. Every encounter I have had with the Jeanette has been unpleasant. I am going to inform the doctor again, however I don't think it will change anything.

At this time we are considering changing to another doctor. Service has been completely poor, especially when dealing with the staff at this location. I always feel that you are bothering them when you are trying to get assistance or you need to speak to the Doctor. Pamela is always rude and very impatient everytime you speak to her. If she is not happy with her position, she probably needs to find another job. In the past, it was easier to contact Dr. Dixon but lately it seems that he has too many patients and not as attentive as he should be . He is always very courteous, however, he is not prompt in returning phone calls. It may take a week before we get a callback and we find ourselves constantly calling and calling for assistance. We have a few friends that are also patients of his and they are planning to switch to another Doctor also. We are sorry we have to leave but enough is enough!!

It took 3 weeks to get a referral. I requested an emergency referal on a Friday and today is Wensday and still waiting. I tried to get appoitments because I have an injuried and the receptionist the only option offert was for 28 laters. I had to call the insurance to find out that the office take walk in. I had poison, after the fact I tried to get an appoitments to get labs, receptionist told that the only appoitments was in two weeks if could not wait to go emergency care.This is a medical office that don't have interest on the patient.I was assigned Dr Dixon, I never saw the Doctor only the had consultation with the Nurse Practicer.
