Dr. Tony C Roisum, MD

If u go to him ask to see him directly. He's good but his PA is PAthetic. And their staff will stick you with the PA. They told me my first appointment was with DR. Roisum but i get there and it was PA Marzlock or something to that affect. First appointments should always be with the doctor

I had been to several doctors in Rexburg and Idaho Falls and never really felt like my concerns were addressed. At the recommendation of a friend, I decided to go in and see Dr. Roisum and his staff. I had a great experience. I have seen both Dr. Roisum and his PA, Mr. Merzlock. I felt like they actually took the time to listen to my concerns. They answered several of my questions. They took the time to investigate different causes of my health problems. I am currently enjoying the best health of my life thanks to them. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Not only did I never meet Dr Roisum, but his apparent assistant, Dr Merlock (sp?) has got to be one of the most ignorant, unqualified individual that I've ever had to deal with. My original documentation from my only 2 visits had a lot of diagnosis for things that I never mentioned. In order for me to get Dr Merlock's incorrect documentation corrected for my insurance, he wouldn't just call me. The staff wanted detailed information, instead of just taking a message and having him call me back so I had to actually make an apt to see him. I just got the results of his 'corrected documentation' and once again it starts off with false information. My insurance co tells me to hound them, to get the info corrected but it's next to impossible with the lack of professionalism we're dealing with. I will never go to him again and I would NEVER recommend him. My experience with pretty much the entire staff (all but one gal was very nice) has been an absolute joke. I hope and pray others read this… and other reviews (which now I see there are a lot of people with similar experiences with this office) before venturing down this nightmare of a path we're on. Not only did Dr Merlock make falsify information there are now 2 other things in my file that are completely incorrect and the worst part is, I don't even know what the 2nd thing is that he documented.

Dr Roisum is very professional and is the best family doctor I have ever consulted with. His P.A. Matt Merzlock is the best I've ever seen, he is very knowledgable. The staff is prompt and kind. Dr Roisum is such a good man. I trust him to care for me and my family. Highly recommended.

The staff didn't take my issues seriously. They ran an EKG and many other unnecessary tests. Despite me calling back several times trying to get someone to respond to my tests no one ever contacted me. What an awfull office.

Dr. Roisum has been my doctor since I was 13-14 years old. Now at 27, I still see Dr. Roisum for my annual visits and any health issues. I work at the hospital and Dr. Roisum has a very good reputation for family and sports medicine! His PA is also great to work with! I won't see anyone else.

Dr. Roisum and his PA Matt Merzlock are great doctors. I would recommend them to anyone. For the most part his office staff is pretty darn nice. His office tends to get a little too busy some times, as others, but it is because he is such a good doctor. The person who makes his appointments could use a little more training in patience in talking with patients, but the rest of his staff is great.

Dr Roisum is so caring about all his patients. What a fantastic man. Strongly Strongly recommended.
