Dr. Tony R Vancauwelaert, MD

Have followed Dr. V. from his old office to his new office. Though I miss Linda, I find Dr. V. continues to be caring and provide me and my family excellent care.

This guys is a joke. He was one of the most unprofessional healthcare providers I have ever come in contact with. Both he and his staff were rude. He overlooked several symptoms that another doctor was able to catch and properly diagnose me with.

I recently saw Dr. Van who has assisted me more than the three doctors I have seen this past year. I was amazed that it was Dr. Van who escorted me to the exam room and initiated the visit and not an assistant or nurse. He was very thorough and kind. What amazed me even more was that HE CALLED ME the next day with my test results and advice on what to do next. Though I am not at the end of my work up yet, I will stay with him and trust him completely.

Dr. V was fine at diagnosis and treatment but when it came to taking the time to listen to me or to answer my questions he always seemed annoyed or in a hurry to brush me off. Very cold in delivering bad news to me; seemed uncaring and generally in a bad mood. I felt more like an annoyance to him rather than a patient.

I was recommended to Dr. V. some time ago by a family member who also sees him. Found him to be very accessible and thorough. I also liked how he took the time at the end of my first visit to discuss his office practice and his style. Am glad I switched as previous doctors never seemed to be able to be ontime or answer questions.

nice at first. past year or so has become rude and abrupt. out of town a lot. likes to give speeches more than care for patients. if you are not he picture of health, forget it. Will treat you like crap if you have any health issues..will drop you.
