Dr. Tonya Felon Hays, PhD

I’m actually surprised to see such negative reviews. I’ve been seeing Dr. Hays for over a year and she really has helped me unpack a lot of issues. She is caring, she listens, and helps me to challenge a lot of my stinking thinking. She is also very patient. The only thing I wish was a little better is scheduling. If you need an appointment in between a scheduled follow up it’s kind of a hit or miss. But otherwise I think she is very good at what she does and I would recommend her especially to other women of color.

This lady is NOT a nice person at all. I would never refer her to anyone. How can anyone get away with talking to people like she does and still have a job? She is terrible.

I will never use her again, she is awful!

Aren't you the Tonya Hays that moonlights for ssa? Called me and did a review for Social Security Administration and gave me a perfect bill of health. Recon why they didn't use MY existing psychologist. Oh yeah. Now I remember.

I have been seeing her for a few months now and she is the MOST understanding calm spirited person I have ever had a chance to talk to. She really gave me a safe place to get my feelings out without judgement. She even sends me helpful material after our sessions to help understand what I am going though.

Tonya is very uncaring, unprofessional, and does not try to understand her patients. I will NEVER refer not visit her again. I have been in tears every since my encounter with her. She added to my anxiety and depression rather than assuring or reassuring me that I was in the best of care. I recommend this motor, Tonya Hays to no one

This doctor has no respect for herself nor patients. It's all about her level of comfort and not the patient's.
