Dr. Tonya Marie Hudson, MD

I saw Dr Hudson from 1999 to 2006 when I left NC. Hands down best doc i have ever had.

I've seen Dr. Hudson a handful of times, and each time it feels as though she has ten thousand better things to do than be in the room at that moment. She has been cold, uncaring, and unhelpful. Always feels like I'm being regarded with suspicion - no idea why.

Great Doctor. Ms. Hudson make you feel like you are talking to a person.

Felt very connected with the doctor, she had a very pleasant bedside mannerism.

Dr. Hudson has worked with me for over 6 years now, coaching me on what's necessary to avoid further Type II complications. I've remained in control of my diabetes, avoiding medications of any type, preferring to control with diet and exercise. I expressed my goal to Dr. Hudson and she heard me, monitors my levels and help me proactively manage Type II.

I was very disappoinment with Dr. T. Hudson today. I was in a car accident and she was rude by asking me if I cause the accident after I told her I was just sitting at a red light. She asked what was I doing for pain. I told her ice and I had to ask her was this the right thing to do? She says," I don't know, it's your body". I said to myself, this is the reason I came to the doctor to get help. I asked if she could write me an excuse for work. How many days do you need ahe asked and I asked for two weeks. She says, " you must think I'm crazy I love my job, I can't write you out for that amount of time." What I DISLIKE was her tone with me. She had actually raised her voice to me. I'm not a child. I'm a very professional person and I work a very professioal job. I think she should have spoken to me is a professioanl tone and not a "getto" tone. Also Dr. Husdon has mood swings, which are not needed at the bedside.

The office staff is not friendly at all on my first visit the didn't say hello, the nurses that asst Dr. Hudson; are rude and unfriendly they don't tell you what they are going to do before they do it. I felt very uncomfortable; I actually wanted to walk out. The Office doesn't have emergency nurse or appointments available. Call on a Friday the front desk girl with a Spanish ancient told me no one could see me. Does this sound professional I called at 3:00 the office closed at 5:00. She didn't even tell me to go to the hospital or nothing. The doctor is good but the staff is unprofessional and rude.

Dr. Hudson is an outstanding doctor. She is so patient. A very caring and understanding doctor. I can't say enough about her. I feel so grateful to have someone like her to take care of me. Thank you Dr. Hudson!
