Dr. Tonya Lewis Mccullough, MD

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. McCullough and the entire experience. From the very first appointment, I felt genuinely listened to and cared for, not rushed, not brushed off, but truly understood. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares, goes the extra mile, I wholeheartedly recommend her and her staff. This has been one of the best healthcare experiences I’ve ever had.

My family has been to a few dermatologists in our time. Dr. Toni was recommended to us by a trusted friend and we have never looked back. Her assistant, Whitney, is also very competent and super friendly. Actually, her whole staff is cheerful and happy EVERY time we are there (which was once a month when treating my daughter's acne). I've recommended her so many times only to have the other person tell me "oh, I love Dr. McCullough, that's who I see"!

Dr. McCullough is hands down the best dermatologist in Savannah! I have been a patient of hers for many years. I moved from the Savannah area 13 years ago, but would never think of leaving this practice. Her assistant, Whitney, is wonderful also. My last procedure required a removal of a Basal Cell cancer on my neck and stitches. I still left happy and looking forward to seeing them again for the removal of the stitches. They treat their patients like family. You won’t be sorry for using this practice for all of your dermatology needs!

After failed attempts by another dermatologist , I saw Dr. Mccullough one time and she was able to clear a six month rash/ Perioral Dermatitis in just a few weeks!! I still have some bruising from the rash however I see her next week and I am confident in her ability to make this go away..she's an amazing dermatologist

Dr. McCollough and her staff were incredibly nice, and patient. She didn’t rush though my appt which is always a big thing to me. I had a minor procedure and didn’t feel A THING! I’m happy to have found a dermatologist that I’ll stay with.

I am leaving a review as both a patient and as a former employee. I have experienced this office inside and out. I worked with Dr. McCullough as a medical assistant for 6 years, and my family has seen her as patients as well. Although I no longer live in Savannah, I see Dr. Mc for various cosmetic treatments when I am in town. She does a great job, and I trust her. She will NOT do anything that she feels is not in your best interest. Dr. McCullough is fair, compassionate, considerate, intelligent, experienced, and conscientious. Dr. Mc spends time with her patients. She is not motivated by money like many doctors but is motivated by doing the appropriate SAFEST thing for each patient. Dr. Mc teaches medical residents and students for MCG and Mercer University. Love this lady she is a wonderful person and doctor.

After having seen two other Savannah dermatologists, I got a referral to McCullough. Her practice is verrrry busy - you will wait to get an appointment, wait to see her at the appointment, and be fairly rushed through during the appointment, while having a med student observe. I believe she's let her practice get too big, because the personal touch is lacking in favor of moving patients through at warp speed. Office staff is harried and uninterested.

I was so impressed with the ease of speaking to Dr. Mccullough. Her sense of humor, and kindness quickly makes you feel as though you were speaking to an old friend. This Dr. treats you as a patient, not a condition. I wish there were more like her!

She's okay, but certainly not the best. During four different visits, I requested an annual skin check and never received one. She seemed more focused on cosmetic issues, which is great, but not the only issue on the table. I tried four others after her before I went to the practice that seems MOST cosmetic of them all, but some how manages to balance both. The dermatologist who finally looked found that my moles were all pre-melanoma...and she keeps me looking flawless. Balance is key. Docs should be able to handle skin cancer and chemical peels all in one place.

I was put off by the many financial references in the new patient paperwork, but I was completely put at ease my Dr. Mcllough and her staff. My (albeit) minor problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently and inexpensively. I am more than satisfied
