Dr. Tor Ali Waldemar Krogius, MD

Dr, Krogius was terrific. He spent some good time with me in the E.R., analyzed my situation, conferred with my urologist, and prescribed appropriate meds. He was certainly a busy guy, going from one emergency patient to another, and yet, taking the time to chat with me. I was very impressed with all aspects of his energy and patients.

This was an ER visit so there was no "Appointment" to rate. Dr. Krogius was unusually attentive and sympathetic in my attempt to figure out whether my heart attack symptoms could be from anxiety. He presence was as good as any compassionate therapist, without changing the nature of the conversation and going beyond time boundaries allowed by the situation. He also gave me wise feedback regarding a particular issue and his assessment of the health event was definite but not rigid. He allowed room for me to decide whether I wanted further evaluation in a hospital stay, or follow up with my doctor. If this doctor worked as a primary care doctor, I would switch in a heartbeat. (not intended as a clever reference to my "heart!" which was what I was at the ER to check out!)
