We are so happy to have found her. She is patient, caring, knowledgeable, and explains things in a way we can understand. Liver disease is scary. She gave us hope.

Our family considers Dr Sharifnia a huge asset to the VMC staff. She is extremely patient, kind, and caring and answers any questions I have on a level that is clear to me. I have complete confidence in her knowledge and plan for treatment and would recommend her to anyone with liver disease. Dr Sharifnia is part of a great team and is everything we could hope for in a doctor.

I will only have one more visit with her before she leaves. In the few appointments I've had with her, I found her to be extremely knowledgable and willing to spend time and answer my questions about liver disease. I would feel comfortable putting my life under her control. She will be a great loss to the veterans and community in TN and KY.

Dr. Sharifnia was quite pleasant as a consulting physician on my case. She took the time to answer questions and explain what was going on with me and the procedures performed. She has a great bedside manner and did not seem judgemental about me. I would definitely recommend her to anyone going to Vanderbilt University Med. Ctr. with digestive disease problems.
