What I DoAs a physician assistant, I chose to pursue a career in vascular surgery because I appreciate the intricacies of the procedures and complexity of the field. In my role, I find it important to take time to explain the disease process and proposed surgical interventions to all my patients. I want them to be involved in medical decisions and feel supported before surgery, during their time in the hospital and throughout their post-operative recovery.Why I Love My WorkI enjoy following patients through the entire surgery process — from perioperative care to the operating room.
