Outstanding care she treat you like family, she will talk with you like a human and sometimes that’s what we all need is for someone to care .

I am elderly and legally deaf and my son-in-law helps me with all of my doctors and medicines. This office was hostile toward us and refused to allow me ANY assistance because of their "in office Covid Policy". After waiting over a month for an appointment, being treated poorly by the office staff, and then not being allowed any accomodation for my disability, I believe the hateful the people in this office should find another occupation that doesn't deal with the public.

The staff never answers the phone or replies to messages in a decent amount of time. A records request was supposed to take 2 weeks and took roughly three months and several calls. The fees for the records is outrageous too! Any record request (for other doctors or personal request) puts the office on edge and they will start giving you crap and issues once the request is done. The wait for an appointment is horrific and takes forever; typically over 30 minutes. They made my child wait in my car for over an hour and a half during my appointment because they didn't want her there. She was only there because I had to bring her for another appointment. The staff is not friendly at all and always appear pissy. Dr Pennington is always late, never knows what is going on, barely does an exam, doesn't explain anything or give you results of x-rays or MRI's. When you ask for them she gets mad. Half the time she can't remember she ordered them or when. The office will accuse you of all sorts of… things when you ask questions or request records. It is a scare tactic to get you to do what they want or they won't give you the meds you need. Even with the telehealth visits, Dr Pennington is at least 30-60 minutes late and doesn't seem to give a crap about the patient. There is nothing good to say about this office...so sad. I would prefer zero stars instead of one.

I question that the overall positive score is accurate. Of course you have to give her a star in order to write a review.

I can only sit on the couch and cry being that apparently they don't know how to use a fax machine. They also never answer the phone. If you want real treatment I would not even consider this place. Worst decision I ever made. I would give a 0 if it was a choice. I also feel like I was discriminated against.

Deserves a ZERO. I have been waiting for this office for over a month. I originally stopped in after getting a referral. I was told they would call me. Two weeks after my insurance approved the visits I called. The lady on the phone said they had not received my referral. A week after that I left an email message and no reply. I just called today ( another week) at 10:30. Nobody answers the phone and a voice message states that they will return the call in 1-3 business days. How this place stays in business is beyond me. If you have a couple of months to wait and don't mind being ignored, then this is the doctor for you. If not, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Look at the 2.3 star reviews and believe them! I moved and that is the reason I tried to use this office. I called my insurance company and changed the referral. I called that office and I received an appointment that is 6 days away. Now that is service.

Waited almost 3 hours to be seen for the first visit. She is just like the reviews all say. Uncaring and told me things that WERE NOT TRUE in several statements she made. Did not care what my medical issue was but decided I should be taken off meds that Ive literally been taking for years. Also I was scheduled for surgery the next week and have several more in the future and she said I didnt need any pain meds for serious surgeries. I have SEVERAL dibilitating issues that are VERY well documented but she told me she only writes certain meds and thats that. She spent less than 5 mins eith me. When I asked about other NON Narcotic treatnents she said lets look at that next " time you come. Im in a mess after surgery and left hanging with NO HELP. They are even closed when supposed to be open.with no extension to leave a message. Then the phone line just hangs up on you. Dont waste your time atcthis office. Spare yourself what Im being put thru when Ive done nothing wrong.

I saw Dr. Pennington years ago on a regular basis. I received excellent care. I am planning on returning to the area and can’t wait to see her again.

Was Pt x 2 yrs. always followed rules. Passed all drug tests. Stayed on same treatment plan x 2 yrs.She never examined me. She’d come in, hit me w that reflex hammer, was in/out in less than 5 mins, I wanted to decrease an opioid I was on, her answer was always” let’s talk about it in the next visit” which was every 3 months. With this opioid fear. Drs are decreasing RXs. Last visit out of the blue, she says, We’re weaning u off the opioids. Because CDC guidelines says I’m on too much. When I looked at CDC guidelines I saw only where they advised how to put a pt on opioids slowly. After a month and a half, my pain was not being controlled. I called the office within a week and a half 5 times, leaving messages to have the dr or nurse call me. The nurse finally called me back. She wouldn’t have the dr call me, she said there wouldn’t b any change in the prescription. I told her somethings not right. That this is not pain management. What dr would let a pt b in pain for 3 months? An… uncaring one. If u go here. Expect to not get through on phone, and they never call u back. 5 minute visits, and always being told let’s talk about it next time. I have a chronic painful condition that there is no cure for and always progressing w pain worsening. Pain meds make the pain tolerable so I can function. Yesterday I laid in bed not wanting to stand on my feet due to the pain. I’ve had my condition for 25 yrs.and worked. It was only 5 yrs ago that I started pain meds. A different dr wanted to increase it- I said no. Pain is tolerable. I don’t get high, pain meds block the pain signal to my brain. I even wanted to decrease it. But dr Pennington said let’s talk about it next visit. Then one visit it’s being weaned to zero. Over 3 months. I would not recommend this person. - an R.N.
