Tracey Petuch

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with over 15 years of experience helping individuals and their families. I have assisted families with actualizing their full potential and overcoming barriers and challenges in their lives. I have worked with a plethora of issues and concerns including but not limited to the following: anxiety, depression, family dynamics, parenting strategies, ADHD symptoms, traumatic events, and adjustment barriers. My intervention strategies include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma responsive therapy. I believe in teaching effective approaches for developing resilience and understanding the importance of self-care. Practicing mindfulness and developing self-care strategies is powerful in overcoming difficult circumstances, building strength, and encouraging individuals to strive toward authenticity.

I believe in the power of relationships and fostering adaptation to changing …life circumstances. I espouse to an underlying philosophy of person-centeredness, listening with all senses, and challenges my own assumptions. With over a decade of experience specific to community mental health, it is my endeavor to empower people and promote resiliency.
