Dr. Tracey Lynn Pyles, MD

The nastiest, least compassionate physician I have possibly ever encountered. Spent 3-5 min total with my husband over a 6-8 hour period when in the ED with a suspected MI. She had zero interest in his medical history, which is significant. She was visibly annoyed and rolling her eyes when asked to have me phoned in during her brief 2 min visit with him. Rude, lacks empathy, doesn't take medical hx into consideration in workup, made clear her only interest was clearing his bed 'for the 15 other people who want it' - her words, not mine. No one this unfeeling should be dealing with families and patients in a time of need.

Disengaged. No interest in providing care. Don’t recommend this physician.

But simultaneously personable and caring—a perfect fit for emergency medicine

If I go into Suburban Hospital's emergency room, which is in my network, CareFirst; why would I be billed later by the doctor, who was assigned to me, I had no choice in the matter...that she is out of network. I feel this is a terrible business practice. Then trying to navigate through their billing process to get some resolution was un-productive. As a doctor, she was fine..no complaints, but the experience is greater than the 10 minutes she spent with me for a bill of $660?!?

dr pyles was simply amazing! I went in with an earache due to an infection. She diagnosed the problem and prescribed meds quickly and also gave me something onsite to ease the excruciating pain. She even told me where to go for a 24 hr pharmacy to pick up the rx ASAP as it was late.
