Dr. Tracy Ann Fuller, MD

I would never trust this Dr with my care again. She completely betrayed my trust and I want to make other patients aware. Dr. Fuller administered a different type of anesthesia than we discussed prior to the procedure. She told me she would do local but she put me asleep with Propofol just a couple of minutes after I entered the OR as confirmed by medical records. I was not even positioned on the OR table yet when she knocked me out. Just before that she already poked my back with a needle for a spinal and she was very rough with the spinal. I was completely unaware that she would put me to sleep right after giving me spinal. I clearly asked to be awake and I have witnesses who heard that and heard her telling me that I would not be asleep. I would never agree to this surgery knowing that I would be knocked out 2 minutes on entering the OR. If she forgot what type of anesthesia we talked about think about what else she can forget when you trust her with your life and well being? Is she… not getting enough sleep? Is something wrong with her ability to remember things? After I expressed my concerns to Dr Fuller after the surgery she was very insensitive and defensive. I got no apology from her, she in fact was lying about what happened, saying that I never told her I wanted only spinal, when I clearly did and I have witnesses who heard that and heard that she said that I would be awake. The way I was treated by Dr. Fuller conflicts with moral and ethical standards expected from healthcare professionals. It is disrespectful to patients to do things to them without their informed consent and then lie about what happened. Drs should hold themselves to higher moral standards than this and not lie! Stay away from this Dr! Hospitals have other anesthesiologists on staff who care and can actually listen and remember.

When you talk to your patients they rely on your words and trust that you follow through. When you say one thing and do another you betray people's trust. It's morally wrong to do that. As a medical practitioner you should be responsible.
