Dr. Kuykendal is wonderful! She is caring and always kind. She has been my doctor for many years and has treated me for skin cancer and eczema. I have always found Dr, Kuykendal to be caring, kind and informative. I will truly miss her and I'm considering making the trip to Edmond to continue seeing her,

At the appointment time Dr. K. came in to the room and after I explained that I had recurring facial lesions that failed to heal, flaked over, and bled regularly. Dr. K briefly looked at my skin and said that she recommended for me to buy a $400.00 Obagi Kit. Even though the lesions I presented with and described fit the exact descriptions of Actinic Keratosis, Dr. K did not do any in-office treatment that could have made a difference on the areas needed. Her solution was to recommend the expensive kit only. After she was in the room approximately 2 minutes, most of the time on a computer, she turned and walked out the door. It was shocking to me that she would leave without telling me what she thought my diagnosis was so I called to her, "what do you think these lesions are?" and she said "most likely actinic keratosis" and then she left. Today I got a diagnosis from a different dermatologist that one of the lesions that Dr. K was not interested in treating is a basal cell cancer that… I now have to have removed from my face by a surgeon and the other lesions were treated with cryotherapy to freeze and remove them in case they are progressing into a cancer. My problem could have been treated and cured by Dr. K 3 years ago but she chose to get a monetary kickback from a skin care line that she is pushing onto her patients.

Highly do not recommend this doctor or office

I’m always disappointed after leaving this office. Dr. K is in a hurry EVERY time I’m there. Dr. K, when you’re examining me, please concentrate and don’t rush. It’s important to me, or I wouldn’t have made the appointment. It seems she delegates more to her assistants. And, they rattle everything off like the patient has heard it before. You may say this information ALL DAY long, but each time your patient is hearing it for the first time. SLOW DOWN, and imagine if YOU were the patient. Frustrating and disappointing for what I spend. Not sure they care to improve.

I've had 2 experiences, one personal, and one where dr kuykendal treated my grandson. both times I found both the dr and her staff to be friendly and knowledgable--she also has a great sense of humor which is a good combination in a health care professional. I would recommend her to anyone. GW

She would spend no time with my questions and lied to me. I didn’t want a biopsy on a removal and didn’t want the results if any I told her I was so stressed from just loosing my son she didn’t care and her office called me with bad news anyway. Sorry people I don’t recommend them.
