Dr. Tracy W Middlebrooks JR., MD

My kids have not seen this doctor in person, however due to him being the on call doctor this past Saturday.... I had a very unpleasant talk with him. My children see Dr. Allen at North Augusta Pediatrics, my daughter was tested there Thursday morning. I was told results would be in 24-48 hours and I'd be contacted by them. Getting a bit nervous as it had been over 48 hours, I called the after hours line where Mr. Middlebrooks contacted me. He lacked any compassion towards the situation. I get that a lot of people are panicking right now and that Saturday afternoons are your time off, unless you are on call. He basically told me if she tested positive, they could do nothing and my family had been exposed. It didn't pertain to my request which was wanting the test results. He just said, let her get fresh air. What a joke!!!! My child has pneumonia and is allergic to pollen and you're telling me to let her outside? Dr. Allen did call me last night with results and he had… compassion for the situation. He understood my concern (and thankfully, relief!!) He explained a few things to me in regards to what they did find and even asked how my daughter was doing. Needless to say, I'm thankful he is my kids pediatrician.... I'll never make the mistake if calling after hours again when middlebrooks is the doctor on call.

I would rather do my own doctoring than go back to Dr. MIddlebrooks.

I've known dr Middlebrooks for over 20 years. Over the past few years he's continuously gotten more rude and disrespectful. I've tried so hard to stick with him but after I late night concerned phone call regarding my sick child I can't continue with him as their pediatrician anymore. After making me feel dumb for having concerns he hung up on me. That was one of MANY experiences I've had where he's literally been the rudest "professional" person I've ever spoken with. It pains me to say it but I give him a BIG thumbs down.

The Doctor is amazing !!! Very Smart !! So nice even sometimes after office hours and on weekends he has the office calls transferred to he's cell so u can speak to him directly . When ur baby is born he comes over to the hospital and checks them !! I highly recommend Dr Middlebrooks !!!

after hours when U call he answers great pediatrician

He is wonderful. Answers phone when you have late night concerns. Very nice and friendly when you visit.

My kids are 24,23 and 17 He remembers every detail about them since the day they were born

We were referred to Dr. Middlebrooks by a friend and have been extremely happy with his practice. He now attends all our children and we refer people to him frequently.
