Dr. Nelson messed up my surgery so badly that I had to go to a specialist in Wilmington to perform a 2nd surgery to fix hers!! Please choose another GYN, I am trying to warn everyone I can. I never want anyone to go through what I did!!

Dr Nelson has not only helped me to understand more about menopause, she has also helped me to keep my sanity and health stable thru it! A friend highly recommended Dr Nelson, as she had been seeing her for her Annual Exams for 10+ years and adored her. Being in the lobby with women of all ages, many in their child-bearing years, I wasn't sure what to expect. Would a doctor here care about someone my age, or would they simply put me out to pasture?? She was an absolute gem. I left my appointment with a much brighter outlook than I came in with, and kicking myself for not coming sooner!! The hormone replacement therapy has given my life back!!

I've seen Dr. Nelson several times and could not be more pleased. She is caring, comforting and her demeanor is so pleasant it's a joy seeing her. Dr. Nelson anticipated every concern I had now that I'm approaching middle age and addressed each one. She answered my questions making sure I understood. Thank you Dr. Nelson for your knowledge and expertise.
