Dr. Tracy Lee Ruymann, MD

Dr. Ruymann is the whole package - she's knowledgeable and tailors all treatments specifically to you. Every time I see her, she knows all my histories without having to consult the chart. Dr. R spends plenty of time in every appointment listening and explaining - I've never once felt like she was rushing. I've seen her through regular pap smear exams to recovering from a miscarriage to a full pregnancy and she's been amazing through it all!

Dr Tracy Ruymann is arrogant and has awful “patient to doctor social skills/manners”. Look-up North County OB Gyn lawsuit. They were sued for malpractice and over billing. We experienced malpractice (over-billing as well, but we confronted the office constantly/regularly about it).

She’s very pleasant and knowledgeable she offered many services to assist me . looking forward to continuing my care with her for my first pregnancy.

Dr. Ruyman is the best when it comes to obstetrics and having a baby. She just really takes care of you during the pregnancy. However, the previous reviews regarding her attitude towards "anything but" having a baby, is true. I had the same experience and ended leaving her services after three having three babies under her care. Now that I'm perimenopausal, I can't get any understanding or care.

I love Dr. Ruymann -- she really knows me -- and I always feel like I'm talking with a friend after an appointment with her. When I asked for referrals, she immediately got back to me -- and called twice to make sure I received her voicemail mesasge. I can't imagine a better OB/GYN than Dr. Ruyman -- and this is from a woman who IS going through menopause.

Dr. Ruymann belittled my symptoms (i.e. chronic night sweats, emotional rants) and basically has the attitude that you should just deal with it. She actually took me off the hormone therapy I was on and try to replace it with the Nuovo ring. After 1 week I felt suicidal and it as bothersome for her to return my calls. I would avoid at all costs. She obviously never experienced a dramatic "change" herself so she thinks they symptoms are imaginary.

I would not recommend Dr. Ruymann if you are peri-menopausal. She will not believe that your symptoms are problematic and will not prescribe hormone replacement therapy for you. Go elsewhere if you are looking for a caring and compassionate physician who will listen and take your symptoms seriously.
