Dr. Travis Daniel Reeves, MD

After waiting 45 minutes in an exam room to see Dr. Reeves, I asked a nurse to check with him regarding additional wait time. I believe this was the last appointment of the day, and I saw no other patients in the waiting room. The nurse returned and told me that “[Dr. Reeves] got a little caught up with his last patient.” When I asked how much longer I might have to wait, the nurse left again, this time returning and telling me that Dr. Reeves was on the phone. The nurse told me that Dr. Reeves couldn’t say how long he might be on the phone, but I could reschedule my appointment. I told the nurse that I would wait another ten minutes, but if I had to reschedule, it would be with a different physician. Dr. Reeves walked in the exam room about 5 minutes later with no apology for keeping me waiting for one hour. When he examined each of my ears, he said, “That’s a good looking ear,” as if I should find that amusing. This was the most unprofessional and discourteous medical treatment I’ve… had in a number of years. I would not return to see this provider. I cannot comment on his treatment skills, since this was only a consultation.

Straightforward surgery placing ear tubes for my seven year old. He was great - checked in with us beforehand to explain the procedure and sat down with us afterwards to recap and answer our questions. Post-op follow up with an associate went fine. Absolutely no issues which is the way we like it.
