I had a great experience with Dr Wiggins and his team and if anything pops up again, I know where I will go. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer my questions.

I would go back to Dr W if I continue with gastro problems. Hopefully I won't have to! he created a plan for me to follow after fixing me up so as long as I behave myself I can avoid diverticulitis again! thanks, Dr. Wiggins

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Wiggins. Not only was he approachable and had a very professional bedside manner, I found he was very knowledgeable and explained things in terms that I understood. Sometimes medical jargon can be hard to comprehend and procedures that aren't explained well or thoroughly can lead to more confusion down the road. I knew exactly what was the issue, what needed to happen and all the steps along the way Dr. Wiggins explained well. I highly recommend him and his practice.

I have classic gallbladder disease and Dr. Wiggins took a whole new view of my case, despite test results and disregard for not one but TWO gallbladder attacks. I would not recommend him. Also, the time it took to get return calls from the office is totally unacceptable.

I have no issues with Dr. Wiggins but his nurse and the staff are another matter. I saw Dr. Wiggins recently for a consultation. Blood was drawn in his office for lab tests and I was told that I would be contacted with the results. I was also scheduled for an endoscopy to determine the nature of my medical issues. I waited for a week and a half for someone to call with my lab results but didn’t hear anything. And so I called the office to ask about them, only to reach the voicemail of a nurse. I left many messages over the course of a full week but my calls were never returned. I called again and selected a different extension from the prompts and finally was able to speak to an actual person in Medical Records. She told me that they had been busy and transferred me to yet another voicemail to leave another message. Again, I did not receive a return call. In frustration I called and asked for the procedure scheduling department and canceled my endoscopy. I made sure to tell the person… I spoke with that I was canceling because no one in the office seemed to be interested in me as a patient. The young lady apologized and said she would refer my problem to a suoervisor. An hour later a woman who identified herself as Dr. Wiggins’ nurse called to say that my calls had not been returned because no lab work was ever done. When I told her that this was a mistake she asked where the blood had been drawn! I told her that it had been drawn there in her office and provided both the date and the time. Fifteen minutes later this nurse (I believe she said her name was Pam) called me again and tried to blame the problem on Lab Corp. When I asked if the problem could be investigated she suddenly said that she had the results in hand! Then she told me that my records showed that I was scheduled for an ultrasound-assisted liver biopsy, which was news to me! Quite the contrary, I had been initially told that I had been scheduled for an endoscopy to look for ulcers. A biopsy was never mentioned to me by anyone until that point. I was so upset with the confusion in the office that I informed the nurse I would never return to that practice again. Beyond ridiculous!!

I won't go into detail but Dr. Wiggins went above and beyond for me. Very nice doctor and practice

Dr. Wiggins is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.He hasn't a clue about many GI issues and you're best to stay clear away from him! Plus his office is filthy and the air is TOXIC TO BREATHE! Stay clear away from this child. He's dangerous and only cares about your MONEY spurred on by the CEO of St. Joseph's Hospital.
