In 1997, Dr. Trent W. Smallwood founded The Centre for Contemporary Dental Concepts in Tempe, Arizona. A graduate of Indiana University with emphasis in the area of Dental Cosmetics from P.A.C-Live and the Hornbrook Group. Dr. Smallwood has completed thousands of hours to better serve his patients and has achieved his Fellowship with F.A.C.E (Fellowship Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics).
Dr. Smallwood also teaches all over the world on numerous topics, educating dentists internationally (see Lecture venues) on contemporary concepts in today¹s dentistry. In addition to his International Speaking, he is an accomplished author of the Best Selling manual....The Platinum Paradigm, which is a book designed to aid dentists, patients and ceramists, in the delicate art of smile design and enhancement. Along with consulting and teaching with major dental manufacturers, laboratories and his peers, Dr. Smallwood has been named the Official Cosmetic Dentist to the …Prestigious Miss Arizona USA and Miss Arizona Pageants.
He has been honored and awarded for excellence in Prosthodontics in addition to being named the Co-Director with the prestigious Hornbrook Group. Dr. Smallwood is an esthetic Instructor for the Hornbrook Group, as well as a Premier Provider and Instructor for Invisalign and Founder of World Institute of Dental Esthetics. Local and National news teams have featured Dr. Smallwood and his innovative approach to educate patients on the modern technologies and philosophies available today in Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Smallwood always finds time to remain active in the community and is a proud father of twin daughters.
