Dr. Trenton Randall Collier, MD

In my opinion, this is a combative, arrogant and dismissive doctor. I felt very uncomfortable with him. Definitely not for me.

Dr. Collier has been my primary-care physician for more than five years. I find him to be extremely knowledgeable and up-to-date on medical conditions, drugs, and treatments. He has an excellent bedside manner. He is professional, yet warm and caring. If I go to see him about a specific issue, he addresses not only that issue but also my complete physical condition. He is proactive about identifying possible problems and doesn't hesitate to recommend specialists when they're needed. I am not an easy person to satisfy, but try as I might, I cannot find one fault with Dr. Collier. I have 100% trust in him. He is prompt, both in the office and in communicating through the Weill-Cornell portal. He responds to my questions, and he makes sure that I understand the answers. His office is well run, and the people working in it are also pleasant and competent. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Collier to anyone who is looking for an excellent physician.

So glad I found Dr. Collier. He helped me at a time when I was really sick/scared. I am so grateful for his care!

Not a great doctor. I had a very uncomfortable first visit. He had no idea what citronella was- never heard of it— (I’m allergic to it when asked if I had allergies)— that’s really weird that a doctor never heard of a number one common bug repellent ? Secondly, he admonished me for asking questions telling me he didn’t have time for my questions (I wasn’t late— well within my allotted time appointment)—he had patients waiting he testily said more than once. He did not ask any follow up questions to any of my answers about my unusually difficult medical history — and lastly he refused to give me a physical and blood work though the receptionist prepared me for the blood work/physical. That was the real shocker. It’s pretty clear I’d do better looking up my own medical questions on google than wasting time talking to doctor Collier who had to look on the internet while I was there to find out what “citronella” was. I can only imagine he would probably do the same with other “medical… mysteries” I might present. This doctor was cold, uninterested, arrogant with not much obvious medical aptitude— not a good sign of a new PCP partnership. Fail

In my opinion, I found Dr. Collier to be rather rigid, arrogant and dismissive. He also tried to take over my care from various specialists I'd been seeing, and I didn't feel at all comfortable with him. I will not be returning.

A great doctor! I came for clearance prior to a surgical procedure because my surgeon would not accept clearance from my current primary care doctor. I was so impressed with Dr. Collier that I decided to switch to him!

Dr. Collier was easily the best physician I have ever seen. I was very sorry to see him move to New York, but I wish him and his new wife all the best. If he ever returns home to Dallas, I will definitely go back to him.

Although I'm not a current patient of Dr Collier, I feel I'm very qualified to add an opinion of his care. My husband, mother, mother-in-law and I were all his patients at Baylor Medical in Dallas prior to his move to NY. He never rushed through an appt and was the most thorough physician We've ever had. He always provided a description of any Changes that we may need to make to our daily regiment. He never ordered esting that wasn't necessary and he always followed up any testing with a detailed letter and usually a phone call! It was so nice to have a DR that truly cared about our well-being. We miss him terribly.

Dr. Collier is an extremely thorough and caring physician. I am in better health due to his diligent care. I have since referred both my mother and sister to him who have been equally grateful for his professionalism, thoughtfulness, and sincerity.

Inexperienced, time clock conscious
