Originally from Novi, Michigan, Dr. Nessel earned his Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from Michigan State University. He went on to receive his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his dermatology residency at Corewell Health in Farmington Hills, where he served as chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Nessel is a member of the American Academy …of Dermatology and the Michigan Dermatological Society. He is passionate about global health and has participated in international medical mission trips to Honduras, Peru, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys traveling, hiking, playing soccer, and cheering on Detroit sports teams.
